The accommodation confirmation is sent to you once your deposit payment has been confirmed. International payments may take a few days to reach us.
Each of you must submit a separate application for a twin room. Mention your friend’s name in the comment section. We will try to place you together if possible.
All of the rooms are twin rooms. You can apply for two places in a twin room for single use.
Rooms include a bed, a desk, a chair, a wardrobe and shelves. Bedding is provided.
Kitchens have a stove, a refrigerator, a kettle, a microwave and basic kitchenware.
Rent invoices are issued monthly by the 10th, due by the 24th. They are sent to your email and are available in E-kyla as well.
When making the payment, include the invoice number in the details line and the reference number in the reference field. Payments can be made via bank transfer, WISE, or a similar platform or in cash at the post office.
Payments are registered into the system once per business day. It may take up to 3 business days for the payment to appear in E-kyla.
All contracts are fixed-term contracts in line with your study status so it is not possible to end the contract before the expiry date. You may move out early, but rent must be paid until the end date of the contract.
You are not required to collect your keys on the start date of the contract. You can collect keys any time from the contract start date. The reception at Raatuse 22 is open 24/7.
If arriving more than a week after the start date, please notify us in advance.
All contracts are signed for one semester. The contract for the second semester can be signed about a month before the current contract ends. No need to reapply, this can be done via email.
You can borrow a temporary set from reception for 3 €/day. A replacement set costs 50 €.
For hard water stains, add vinegar or citric acid to the water and boil to clean. If the kettle does not turn on, report it to the reception.
Do not use adhesives, nails, or anything that may damage walls. You may use masking tape carefully.
Any damage will be deducted from your deposit.
Postboxes are located in the lobby. They are not locked. Include your room number in the address. Letters, newspapers, and periodicals are delivered directly.
Larger parcels must be picked up from the post office. Post office notifications are sent via email or delivered to your postbox. Tartu Student Village staff do not accept courier parcels; provide the courier your contact information or authorize a friend to receive it.
